My husband has been asthmatic, but the severity and frequency of attacks have increased over the past few months, which resulted in several ventilated episodes in the ICU. Some of the admissions were comparatively uneventful, whereas some have been traumatic for both him and the persons close to him.

Now, he is at home, but suffering from PICS ( Post Intensive Care Syndrome ). He is always stressed and he is in bad health condition. I think half of his problems are due to the over stress.

He is experiencing dental problems now as he doesn't pay attention to his diet. He is suffering from dental cavities and it is becoming worse. I think he requires a root canal treatment soon and is seeking treatment at a dental clinic in Mississauga.

But, I wanted to confirm whether it is safe to undergo dental treatment while having PICS. Is there anybody over here with a similar situation? Please give some genuine replies and suggestions. Thanks in advance.
